This is an OfficePoint binding machine specifically designed for velo binding. It punches a series of small holes along the edge of the document and then uses two thin plastic strips (one with prongs, one with corresponding holes) that are inserted through the holes. The machine then applies heat and pressure to melt and rivet these strips together, trimming off any excess prongs for a flush, secure finish.
