This product provides a neat and secure way to terminate network or telephone cabling at the wall, creating a professional-looking outlet. The cable (e.g., Cat 6) is run from the network switch/router to the location of the wall outlet. The back box is then installed (flush in the wall or surface-mounted). A keystone jack (e.g., an RJ45 jack) is terminated onto the end of the cable and then snapped into an opening on the faceplate. Finally, the faceplate is screwed onto the back box.
